If you’re looking for the absolute best value in town, ibis Hong Kong Central & Sheung Wan Hotel is a top choice. It’s about a 7-minute walk from Sheung Wan MTR station. While it’s slightly off the MTR station (about a 7-min walk), tram and bus stops are just 3 minutes away, and the Macau Ferry Terminal is under a 10-minute walk.

Opened in 2018, Tung Nam Lou Art Hotel is one of the most convenient choices. It’s just steps from Yau Ma Tei MTR Station (Exit A1), and the airport bus stops right nearby on Nathan Road. WAKE Concept Hotel opened in 2023 and is a great budget pick, sitting just a 2-minute walk from Yau Ma Tei MTR Station (Exit C has an elevator). The A21 airport bus stop is also right around the corner. From here, walking to spots like Temple Street and the old Yau Ma Tei Police Station takes less than 10 minutes.

5. The Cityview very close to MTR!
Newly renovated in 2023, The Cityview is another solid budget pick right by Yau Ma Tei MTR station. Along with the MTR, you have the A20 airport bus stopping right outside the front door. It’s also just a 6 to 8-minute walk to the heart of Mong Kok, so getting to the Ladies' Market and Sneaker Street is incredibly easy.


Standard double rooms start at 13 m². The hotel also has triple and quadruple rooms, which is perfect if you’re traveling with a group and want to share a space.
6. Urbanwood Hung Hom renovated in 2024!
Urbanwood Hung Hom was renovated in 2024 and sits just a 5-minute walk from Ho Man Tin MTR Station, putting you only two stops from Tsim Sha Tsui and Mong Kok. The surrounding Hung Hom neighbourhood is also a major foodie hotspot, so you'll find tons of great local eateries right downstairs.

Renovated in 2023, Hotel YX Lai Chi Kok is about a 6-minute walk from Lai Chi Kok MTR Station (Exit B2 has an elevator!).
